Uniform
It is our aim that students should develop a sense of pride in their work, behaviour and dress. Therefore, a high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students.
- All students are expected to come to the academy wearing the correct uniform at all times.
- Unless specified, uniform must also be worn for educational visits, regardless of the time of day. Students are also expected to wear uniforms when returning to the academy for evening events, such as parents’ evenings, options evenings, etc.
- Students who come to the academy inappropriately dressed will be dealt with according to the academy’s uniform policy as set by the Local Governance Committee.
- The academy’s uniform policy and a uniform list are issued to all new students.
- Students will also be provided with a lanyard for their student cards. They must not use any other lanyard in the academy.

Plain mid-grey all round pleated skirt, minimum length 20 inches. Formal mid-grey tailored shorts or culottes mid length. |

Plain mid-grey tailored trousers. |

School Shirt |
White, in a style that allows a tie to be worn (top button should be fastened). |

School Jumper (optional) |
Blue V-neck with contrast green trim (purchased from Anglia Sports and Schoolwear). |

Shoes |
Black leather/leather look, plain, flat-heeled with closed back and toes. NOT trainers, boots, or canvas shoes. |

Socks/Tights |
Plain black or dark grey socks (ankle or knee length are allowed). |
|
Make-up and Nails |
Any face make-up must be discreet. Extreme false nails are NOT permitted. |

Jewellery |
Small ear studs - plain, one per ear. Nose piercing - one small stud, no hoop piercings. NO other studs or piercings. One watch. |

Coats |
Coats should be long enough to cover the blazer. Denim, leather or hoodies are NOT acceptable. |

Plain navy tracksuit bottoms with zip at the bottom. Tracksuit bottoms may only be worn between October and March. Please note that heavy cotton tracksuit bottoms are not an appropriate item of clothing for safe participation in PE lessons. |

Clean trainers and Football/Astroturf boots (not blades or metal studs). |
