The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Is your Year 10 student ready to challenge themselves, develop essential life skills, and make unforgettable memories? At Paxman Academy, we're proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Award!

The DofE Award is a fantastic opportunity for personal growth, encouraging students to get involved in volunteering, learn a skill, take part in a physical activity, and plan and complete an expedition. It's a prestigious award that stands out on university, college and job applications.

We believe DofE should be accessible to everyone. We work hard to minimise costs and provide much of the essential equipment participants need, removing financial barriers to entry. Participants receive high-quality training and support every step of the way from our experienced staff, ensuring they are confident and prepared for each section.

The exciting Bronze expeditions take place in June and July, offering a fantastic culmination to the programme.
