Last week, six students participated in a Boccia tournament at St John Payne School.
It was an exciting and rewarding day as they showcased their skills, determination, and excellent teamwork. Throughout the event, the students demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

What an amazing day for our school's Splatoon 2 esports team at the Digital Schoolhouse tournament in Cambridge! 🎮 Facing off against four teams, all older and more experienced, our students showed incredible skill and determination. We started with a tough warm-up against Philip Morant, but bounced back strong with a victory over Trinity B! 🏆 A close loss to Trinity A sent us into the playoffs, where we had a nail-biting rematch with Philip Morant and clinched the win! 💪 We faced Trinity A again in the final round and although we didn't take the win, it was a fantastic, hard fought game! We are incredibly proud of their 2nd place finish! What a whirlwind of wonder we had for World Book Day! Our students truly embraced the magic of reading, diving into stories and characters with infectious enthusiasm. From captivating door decorations and a thrilling mystery to solve, the love of books was palpable! A HUGE shoutout to our incredible staff who went above and beyond with their amazing costumes – you brought our favourite literary characters to life! It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and the pure joy of reading. A massive thank you to everyone who made World Book Day so incredibly special!
